NWAACC Championships on the horizon for Green River’s spring programs

The weekend of May 15th, 16th and 17th will be a busy one for Green River Community College. That’s when thr NWAACC Championships begin to get underway for many of Green River’s sports. Athletic Director Bob Kickner will be in Portland during the Gator’s exciting championship weekend for the fastpitch NWAACC championships, Green River’s first appearance in Portland in five years. Christian Scholl latest Gator to turn Pro

Former Gator making his way up the Minor league chain

This year hitters in the NWAACC can take a huge sigh of relief. After finishing up his Sophomore season at Green River, phenom pitcher Christian Scholl was drafted in the 8th round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and took his game to Rookie ball in the summer of 2008 with the Utah based Orem Owls of the Pioneer league. Hawks feel Deja vu as injuries in ‘09 resemble those that derailed 2008

NFL analyst predicts that the Seahawks could go 12-4 or 9-7 the word called injuries that keep occurring year after year. Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck injured again along with linebacker Lofa Tatupu is injured but has returned in last week’s game.
