To join The Current

The Current is a newspaper that reflects and serves the surrounding community at GRCC, in order to do this it is essential for a diverse staff skilled in writing, photography, film, cartoons and graphic design. Ideally, a potential staff member will be enrolled in Journalism 100.1-100.3 in order for a student to observe how the Current is run in a classroom environment, and to learn key concepts in the journalism field.

However, participation in the Current newspaper is not limited to the classroom. As a reflection of the school teachers and non-journalism students are welcome to participate and build a portfolio through the print and digital mediums. We gladly accept tips, letters to the editor and guest writers.

The Current office is located in SMT 134 and can be contacted by phone at (253) 833-9111 ext. 2375.

'Priveledges' in the last sentence is misspelled - it should be privileges.

Should there be a comma in the second paragraph second sentence after school? Just a thought.
