NICOLE SWAPP

Hey! My name is Nicole Swapp. This is my second year at Green River and I have been working for The Current since Fall of 2005. I guess you could say I am on the four year plan. In Fall of 2005 I came to Green River fresh out of high school and jumped right into a Features Editor position. After working for the newspaper on and off from Fall of 2005 through Spring of 2006 I decided to apply for the Editor-in-Chief position for Fall 2009. I love being the Editor-in-Chief of The Current because I like working as a leader for a great editorial team. I also love editing stories, laying out the newspaper and informing students about school activities. Next year I plan on attending The Evergreen State College and major in Literature.
