I'm Mary, and I'm the news section editor. This is currently my second year here at GRCC as a running start student. After I receive my AA degree this June, I'll be transferring down to Stockton, California (A.K.A. the middle of nowhere) to attend the University of the Pacific. I was accepted into the Communications program down there, where I plan on continuing with journalism. This quarter is my first time as an editor, and so far it has been great learning about all of the work that is brought into the newspaper. Everyone was very welcoming and made the transition from a writer to and editor easy and fun. Being an editor is definitely keeping me busy, but I'm very excited to be here this quarter.
