Bonjour! Je m'apelle Jean-Pierre Garcia. I tend to introduce myself in french each quarter since I've started as an assisting editor for The Current Winter 2009.
I myself am only the tiniest bit French-Canadian. The name is french though, so I try to prep people on pronunciation. I'm not half trousers.
I started out as an reporter the previous fall and have since moved around staff to three different positions. I was the webmaster when this site launched and am now the Arts and Entertainment Editor since the beginning of this year. I've studied journalism throughout my school career, branching off in video broadcasting, photojournalism and a class newsletter in fourth grade.
After Green River, I plan to freelance, hit the spoken word scene, start an internship but most likely a transfer in the more recent future.
