My name is Andrew Honea and I am currently in my 2nd year at Green River Community College. I am a graduate of Tahoma High School, but lived in Georgia until my junior year. I became involved with the paper during fall quarter 2008, and have stayed involved ever since.
I took the journalism class my entire first year at GRCC, while writing mostly for sports, and eventually starting my own column, “Honea’s House”. During winter quarter 2009, I took over as Sports Editor for The current, which is the position I still currently hold. I am planning on attending Eastern Washington University in the fall and majoring in English Education.
